42C

Application and use

Adhesive 42C has specially been developed for resealable labels. The repeatable removability from common synthetic substrates is excellent. Therefore the labels are removable with a smooth and soft behaviour from a vast number of plastics and filmic surfaces. The very high cohesion works well against moderate reset forces on curved surfaces. 42C shows a good resistance against water, oils and other liquids and furthermore has a particular good resistance against light, moisture and ageing.

Processing

Excellent die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines.

Storage conditions and shelf life

Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5°C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5% and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided. The shelf life up to 2 years from date of production (belongs to face material).
