Application and use

The adhesive 62Gpt shows a very high tack even on cold surfaces down to -10 °C. Due to the high initial tack even on moist surfaces 62Gpt is particularly suited for labelling polar and nonpolar surfaces such as plastic containers, film wrappings and other packaging materials. The 62Gpt suits especially well for fast running dispensers, in which the initial tack has to be built up extremely quickly as f.ex. when the labels are blown on the substrate. Once labelled the adhesive is highly waterproof.

Excellent die-cutting characteristics on all customary machines.

Storage conditions and shelf life

Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5°C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5% and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided. The shelf life is 2 years from date of production.

Regulations concerning contact with food

All ingredients of adhesive 62Gpt comply with recommendations BfR XIV or FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).
